PITCH
PERFECT
Pitch Perfect is an American musical comedy film directed by Jason
Moore. The film tells the story of the Barden University's all-girl a cappella group called “The Barden Bellas”. The leading role is
played by Anna
Kendrick. The film also stars Brittany Snow and Elizabeth
Banks.
The plot follows the national a cappella competition
of 2011 where the Barden Bellas perform. Everything goes well until Aubrey
Posen vomits on stage during her solo. This fact humiliates the group and they lose the competition. Four months later Beca Mitchell joins the
Barden Bellas. After some internal group problems, they regenerate and create a
new image for the group.
What really impressed me was the difficulty of the
choreographies. They were very accurate.
I also enjoyed the songs and arrangements that they sang and the new
image they gave to the group showing that you don’t have to be slim and very
beautiful to participate in things.
The film is a must for teenagers because it’s funny and it shows you many principles of collaborative work and group work. It also shows you that being part of something special, makes you special.
